This beautiful resort opened in October 2008, and has 90 one-bedroom villas, 1 Presidential Suite, 45 two-to-five-bedroom residential villas, 5 stunning Food and Beverage venues in addition to managing an off-property beach bar/restaurant, an award-winning over water Spa, 2 tennis courts and a fitness center. Purpose Welcoming and assisting all guests visiting the Resort Boutique. Respond to any guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requ ests to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' standards, policies and procedures.
General Is directly responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of work Where applicable, acts as shift leader ; leads and motivates colleagues by example and promotes teamwork Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness Actively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) related feedback to management Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk Actively participates in briefings and meetings; facilitates communication between employees and management Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment Performs any cognate duties as and when required. Departmental Assist with the daily opening and closing of the Resort Boutique. Conduct cleaning & maintenance & check on display arrangements. Assist customers with sales and any special order. Utilize the computerized Point of Sales System (Micros) for retail transaction. Any manual sales posting shall be reported to Manager for record on the system. Actively participate in monthly inventory exercise and monitor stock replenishments. Update Stock Sheet to key in sales, new receiving and transfer items whenever the same arise. Attend to special guest requests. Assist with the training of new staff. Follow-up on room deliveries (log book). Take care of the maintenance of the Resort shop with Engineering Department. Ensure that the Boutique Store is always tidy and good stocking of items on shelving. Perform gift-wrapping, packing & shipping upon guest request. Maintain product knowledge and selling skills on the floor. Maintain Resort Boutique float of MUR 2000/-. Price labelling of new items. All clothes and hanging items where appropriate, must be pressed if required before being put on display in the Resort Boutique. Be aware of shoplifting. Participate fully in all departmental training sessions and regular standards testing so as to master all tasks and skills related to the Standard Operating Procedures for the position.
