With over 375 million tracks from 40 million artists, the future of music is SoundCloud. We seek a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (hands-on) for the SoundCloud Engineering & Infrastructure team. The team's mission is to lead and guide the design, implementation, and improvement of SoundCloud's Cloud architecture and refactor our current workloads with a cloud-native approach. As a Senior Cloud Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for identifying critical technical problems to solve, adopting or recommending solutions, and working with the Cloud Engineering team to build and deploy these. In addition, you will review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating services and systems, and assess design and code changes to drive improvements. You also will actively participate in code reviews, bug/issue triage with other teams, and support well-informed decisions towards business and engineering goals. Ideally, we are looking for:
