General Summary The Production support Level I should be flexible in providing solution to all facilities irrespective of line of business. Learn the issue proactively and provide the solution before the customer senses the impact.

This position will be responsible for.....

  • Learn the business and provide the solution to the facility operations.
  • Proactively identify and solve the issue, thereby avoid/ mitigate the impact.
  • Should be responsible to get transition from implementation team for new customers and support the operations once the product goes live in production.
  • Focus on improvement on productivity & efficiency by exploring & using innovative tools & techniques.
  • Required hands on in defect fix/ problem management process.

Job description
  • Need a Production Support Analyst to work in a production support project.
  • Should have strong experience in Java applications in production support projects.
  • Should have strong technical experience in Java, SQL/PLSQL for debugging issues and figure out the root cause for incidents.
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle critical incidents.
  • As per need, candidate should be able to coordinate with the client, onsite and offshore team members to expedite the fixes for support incidents.
  • Should have work experience any ticketing tool (preferably Service now), schedulers and monitoring tools.
  • Should possess excellent document creation skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL Procedures, Triggers, Unix Jobs/Deployment.
  • Experience in app support and knowledge on ITIL processes, - Service requests, Change management, - Incident management, - Problem management, Performance improvement etc.,
  • Exposure to Tools like App D, Splunk and other monitoring tools, worked in Job Schedulers
  • Should be flexible to work in shifts (24 x 7)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide the interim solution for incidents that are raised by customer (Operations)
  • Proactive approach to avoid impact and engage in problem management process for permanent solution.
Qualification
  • BCA, BE/ B Tech, MCA or equivalent degree.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Development and Support -- Java applications
