About the role

The Female Spa Attendant maintains the cleanliness of the locker room and fitness areas, provides guests with a fitness and locker room orientation, offers tour of the Spa and Spa treatment options.

What you will do

1. Provide the proper and safe operation and care of all Spa and Wellness areas including spa facilities (steam rooms, saunas, vitality pools, experience showers, heated loungers, Jacuzzi, relaxation lounges, handicapped lift), gym equipment in the fitness center.

2. Provide information and assistance to hotel guests, residents and fitness members as requested, provide them with an orientation, have them registered and is familiar with all hotel services and hours of operation.

3. Ensure the areas with the Board of Health requirements (gym, saunas, steam rooms) meet all stated requirements through cleaning, chemical treatments and temperature monitoring. Monitor water quality and temperature by using test kits (supported by Engineering team) and reports any unacceptable variance to the Spa Manager.

4. Adheres to SOPs and Attendance policies.

5. Work closely with the Engineering department to administer preventive maintenance procedures and to limit equipment down time by ensuring proper use and care. The ability to report equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately.

6. Work closely with Security department in case of emergency or/and ensure that incidents/hazards in spa and fitness areas are immediately reported. Ensure that safety procedures are followed and immediately notifies Security of any accident or injury.

7. Work closely with the F&B department to ensure guest F&B orders for spa guests.

8. Work closely with Housekeeping department/Florist to keep the area meticulously clean and fresh.

9. The ability to supplement deep cleaning performed by Housekeeping by touching up sinks, counters, floors and other areas as necessary.

10. Perform monthly linen inventory.

11. Monitor daily linen deliveries from laundry and reports any variances to Spa Manager.

12. Ensure that all spa and fitness amenities are arranged according to the standard setup. Keep the work area neat, clean and quiet at all times.

13. Ensure that all storerooms are clean and tidy.

14.Provide, monitor stock and orders of towels, robes, disposable underwear, toiletries, juices, teas, water, fruits and other items or amenities needed in the area to provide guests with a level of service in line with a Four Seasons standard.

15. Knowledgeable about amenities, equipment, retail products, treatments, packages. Provide information about spa and fitness special current promotions to hotel guests, residents and fitness members.

16. Read and write in the logbook/provide hand over to keep other team members apprised of information and situations.

17. Ensures that Spa management is promptly informed about all details in case of any glitch.

18. Handle lost and found items.

19. Handle locker keys and keep them inventoried properly.

20. Ensure the Spa and Fitness is closed down and all procedures followed at the end of the day.

21. Enforce Spa and Fitness rules and regulation with guests. The ability to use the Jacuzzi vacuum.

22. Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

23. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel and Spa management and employees.

Standard Duties:

1. To provide a friendly and professional service that always exceeds guests' expectations.
2. To ensure you read the hotel's employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
3. To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
4. To report for duty punctually wearing professional attire. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department personal appearance standards.
5. To comply with local legislation as required.
6. To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments through working by The Golden Rule.
7. To respond to any changes in the division as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel.
8. To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
9. Conduct and attend training sessions as outlined.
10. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Spa Manager.

• A minimum of at least 1+ of experience in the similar role in a luxury brand

• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
