Job Description

Treasury manages the firm's capital, balance sheet, structural interest rate risk, liquidity and daily funding positions.

As a Treasury and Chief Investment Office - Treasury Funding - Associate in Corporate Functions , you will be based in Hong Kong and will report to the Hong Kong Treasurer. Focus will be primarily on JPMCB Hong Kong and related entities in Hong Kong.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage daily funding positions for the branch and related entities in Hong Kong
  • Manage liquidity to ensure compliance with both regulatory and internal liquidity ratios and limits.
  • Manage Banking book Interest Rate Risk within assigned limits
  • Daily pricing and publishing of FTP Rates on Loans and Deposits
  • Perform daily HIBOR submission
  • Daily P&L estimation
  • Assist the Treasurer in coordinating front-office projects/ business initiatives such as cashflow/balance sheet analysis, systems implementation testing etc.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Treasury/ALM role for a bank entity
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Sound knowledge of local and international financial markets and regulatory framework
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong attention to details and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
