The Director of Property Management oversees the following:

  • Residential Management for 33 residential, condominium owners within The Blake at Taos Ski V alley hotel and adjacent Blake Residences building. This consists of managing the program that provides rental and/or homecare management services for the homeowners in these buildings.
  • Homeowner Association Management for two separate condominium a ssociations , including administrative and governance support , enforcement of Association rules and regulations and communications on behalf of the Association to its members.
  • Commercial Lease Management for fifteen third-party commercial tenants .

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of five people


  • Maintains a very high level of guest service.
  • Provides professional, accurate communication with owners.
  • Connects owners to resort and its offerings and with broader opportunities in the community.
  • Negotiates commercial leases and manages work with legal for contract renewal and renegotiation.
  • Ensures accurate p rocessing of monthly statements for owners. Reviews, spellchecks, and ensures format is accurate prior to being sent to owners.


  • Fields questions from owners and provides timely, professional, and accurate information.
  • Creates and m anages budgets with a high level of business acumen.
  • Works with the Director of Engineering and Facilities team to build maintenance schedules and ensure preventative maintenance plan is executed.
  • Works closely with The Blake management team to ensure owners and guests of The Blake Residences and Penthouses receive all hotel amenities and world-class service.
  • Hires, trains, develops, coaches, disciplines, rewards , and terminates staff in accordance with Human Resource policies and procedures.


  • Ensures the team ha s everything they need to run their operations effectively and safely.
  • Responsible for the development and management of each departmental budget.
  • Establish effective goals, evaluate and develop strategies for departmental success using the B-Corp Ethos criteria, financial targets, and Taos Ski Valley's values of Enjoy. Protect. Give.
  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the departments. Prepare periodic reports for executive review to track strategic goal progress and accomplishment.
  • Ensure company policies, safety practices and policies, and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times.


  • Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays

  • Prior resort hospitality , resort property management, and resort association management experience


  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends , holidays, and evenings.


Work Environment:

TSVI is located in a high -altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions.

Physical Demands of Position Include:

Frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50-75 pounds. Sitting approximately 80 % of the time. Occasional walking, reaching, and bending. This position will require individuals to be out in winter conditions 10% of the time.
