Quantum Aviation Solutions Job Posting Position: Product Trainer Classification: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Atlanta area or Athens, Georgia About Quantum: Like to travel? Have you ever sat in an airport and wondered what happens to your luggage once you check it in? Or who keeps track of all those trucks and vehicles around the planes? Already have some experience working in an airport or for an airline? Well, opportunity may be calling… Quantum Aviation Solutions is looking for someone to join our team as a Product Trainer. Who are we? Quantum Aviation Solutions is a global solutions provider for airports and airlines. We partner with over 50 international airlines as well as entire airports to help them keep track of baggage and vehicles. We provide software and hardware for Baggage Reconciliation Systems (BRS) and Ground Services Equipment (GSE) management that help our customers manage it all. Quantum is headquartered in Athens GA but has a work from home friendly environment. Most of the US staff live in and around Atlanta. We also have offices in London and Frankfurt, and have staff located in Brazil, Singapore and Ireland. While we have a global presence and work with many major airlines and airports all over the world, we are a small company and proud of it! Quantum has managed to retain its small company culture through over a decade of growth and acquisition. We like to work hard but we also like to have fun. And no one is afraid to pitch in and help where needed, regardless of title. What will you do? Our Product Trainer role is primarily focused on presenting our products to new customers post installation to help them understand what it does, how it works, and how they can best use it. Ideally, you already have some airport operations experience but, if you have some IT savvy and pick things up quickly, it’s not a requirement. New installs means travel… a lot of it…mainly domestic, but expect international too. But, it’s not constant. Expect 25-75 percent travel but there will be weeks where you don’t travel at all. Also, back to that “pitch in” part. This role would have you helping with everything from installs, support, documentation, and hardware/software. So, experience with things like networking, bar codes scanners, IT support, or IT operations would be great. Experience with Technology training and/or operations is desirable High level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint Excellent presentation skills with ability to listen to customers intently, communicate clearly, and provide guidance in a productive way Ability to organize and maintain ideas within a structured format for presentations and training Ability to adapt in real time with customers to ensure the most accurate and appropriate information is shared Experience dealing effectively with critical customers regarding problems, questions, and critical requests for help Ability to work well independently and exercise judgment and discretion in dealing with customer issues Experience in airline baggage and/or airport ground handling operations is desirable but not essential Resourceful, professional, and proactive in performing requested duties to ensure required quality and timely delivery Fluency in Spanish preferred but not essential Must be able to move heavy equipment such as PCs and related IT equipment Must maintain valid driver’s license and have own vehicle for transportation Position requires adequate work-from-home space for home office/telecommuting when not on site, or ability to report to Athens, GA office Position will require significant overnight travel; it is anticipated that travel will be between 25% and 75% of work time in any given month Must maintain valid passport, as international travel will be required Responsibilities and Duties: The Product Trainer will be responsible for the delivery of end-user and refresher training to Quantum’s new and existing customer base. Specific duties include: Plan and conduct end-user/customer training in classroom and airside/on-the-job environments Maintain and further develop Quantum product end-user guides and related materials Organize and implement end-user training syllabus, visual aids, and other educational materials Work closely with product specialists to ensure training and end-user materials are kept up to date when new versions are released Provide end-user feedback to relevant departments and team members within Quantum Assist our product team with pre-release in-house testing of new versions of the products Assist with installation activities, attend trade shows, and sales and business development activities as required Perform additional duties as required Cultural Competencies: Excellent team player Willingness to maintain flexibility with assignments Uncompromising integrity, professionalism, commitment and follow through Demonstrates value and respect for all customers, vendors and employees High energy and enthusiasm
