GWA is truly unique

• The curriculum at GWA is tri-lingual. Starting at the Kindergarten level, students alternate total immersion in English and French. Beginning in the 1st grade, all core classroom teachers are native English speakers. French is added in 1st grade, Arabic is added beginning in the 2nd grade. Languages are taught by native speakers.
• GWA is the 3rd largest private school in Africa

• Over 700 young people attend GWA everyday – starting from 3 year old kindergarten through to 12th grade.
• GWA’s student body is diverse: 60% are Moroccan, 20% are American and the remainder of our student body is made up of students from 29 countries from around the world, including France, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Holland, Jordan, India and Syria.
• Many of our students are poised to take leadership positions in Morocco (and throughout the world) once they complete their educations. Our graduates have been accepted to well over 61 universities or colleges in the US, Canada, Morocco, Europe and Asia.
• GWA’s 193 staff is also international – 59% are Moroccan, 33% are American and the remainder is from several other countries including France, Canada, England, Australia, and South Africa.
• There are many opportunities for coaching and involvement in extra-curricular events – GWA offers 6 varsity sports, a Fine Arts Fair each spring, and several cultural events every year.

• Our purpose built 5 hectare campus is perched on a hill overlooking the ocean.
• Our campus is endowed with 60 classrooms, two science labs, a state of the art computer lab, elementary playground facilities and a legal-sized track and full-size grass soccer field. Plans for a media-technology center are underway.
• The GWA campus is located on the south side of Casablanca, a city of 5 million people.
• Casablanca is a cosmopolitan city, the largest in Morocco offering a myriad of opportunities from dining & entertainment, to surfing & sports clubs, to opportunities to serve & volunteer.
