Human Resource Office Hours: Winter (November through April)- 7 days a week 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Summer (May through October) - 5 days a week 8:00 am - 4:00 pm LOCATION The Human Resource Office is located in the Upper Administration Building at the top of the Killington Road near Killington Base Lodge. HOW TO APPLY Applications for winter employment are accepted beginning in August. Use our on-line at www.killington.com or come in to complete an application and have an on-site interview. One of the best times to apply is at one of our Job Fairs held throughout the fall. Representatives from our work areas will be available to talk with you. These Job Fairs are convenient for the applicant who is not sure which department will suit them best or for applicants coming from a long distance. Walk-ins applicants are always welcome! And we do accept applications 7 days a week! SCHEDULES AND WAGES Due to the nature of our business, we are open every day. You must be prepared to work a schedule which will include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Your starting pay will depend upon the position and the amount of previous experience you have. Overtime may be required and all hourly paid staff will receive time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours in one pay week. HOUSING We understand the challenge of finding seasonal housing for the ski season. Most rentals are available seasonally, generally from November through April. Other rentals charge by the month or week. Be aware that prices vary and, generally, the closer you are to the mountain, the more expensive the rent will be. The office maintains a listing of available housing that has been shared with the Human Resource Office. Other good sources for local housing information are the local newspapers � �The Rutland Herald� in Rutland and �The Mountain Times� in Killington. DURATION OF SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT Length of employment will depend upon the business levels throughout the season. Generally speaking, Killington�s ski season begins mid-November and ends in June.
