| Profile: | Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort is a full-service resort located eight miles north of Whitefish, Montana. During the winter season, the resort features 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, ten ski lifts, eleven food and beverage operations, nine retail shops, child care, ski and snowboard school, slopeside lodging for over 1500 guests, plus numerous additional activities, special events and guest services. During the summer season, all of the Resort's lodging and most of the restaurant and shopping businesses are in operation. In addition there are scenic gondola and chairlift rides, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, tennis, outdoor amphitheater concerts, western entertainment and a variety of catered functions and special events such as stargazing evenings at the summit and nationally recognized mountain bike races.
