Castello di Amorosa produces primarily Italian style wines while reflecting California's unique climate, soil and growing conditions. All our red grapes are grown in the Napa Valley around the Castle. White grapes are grown in the Carneros district of the Napa Valley or in the Anderson Valley, as both of these cool areas are ideal for white wine grapes. Some grapes are also purchased from select growers.

Brooks Painter, a veteran winemaker of more than 30 years, presides over all winemaking production. His goal is to make delicious, classically structured, intensely flavored, well-balanced, elegant wines which showcase the "Terroir" of each unique vineyard site. In this way we can experience the flavor and aromas of the vineyard itself.
