Main Job Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for Strategic development and Marketing execution of La Mer and Jo Malone London in the Asia Pacific Region.
•  Work closely with Regional VP/GM. Serve as Brand Connection between the teams in the markets and New York/London teams (Global Marketing, Merchandising, PR, Education and CRM)
•  Drive Brand growth and image in the Asia-Pacific Business through strong strategies and programs for both brands
•  Drive new innovative product launches and re-promote activities as well as creating Brand Experience at every point of consumer interaction,
•  Coordinate the teams in the region (Marketing, Online, CRM) with clear vision regarding Brand strategies and tactics.


Lead development of Brand strategies and programs (launches, re-promote and events), with integration of strong consumer understanding, learning and insight:
•  Align with NY & London Global teams to provide relevant marketing calendars for the region taking into account cluster specificities.
•  Lead in brand communication in media (advertorial, online)
•  Lead in Asia product strategy, pricing, mix, sizes, packaging, new developments
•  Understand key drivers behind consumers, especially mainland Chinese, Korean and Japanese
•  Provide feedback to NY regarding programs effectiveness, as well as regional needs in terms of new products, communication formats, promotional tools and in general all aspects of marketing mix
•  Lead in all category analysis. Provide evaluation (qualitative & Quantitative) of key launches & Tracks the financial performance including retail sales data
•  Centralizes and coordinates with procurement the local production of material such as collateral, print.
•  Lead in competitor activities tracking (new products/new counters/new packaging)
•  Lead CRM & Digital marketing strategy with integration into the overall marketing plan

Manage operational effectiveness & Improve business processes to achieve on-time and impactful execution at every La Mer and Jo Malone London counter:
•  Lead in development of an integrated 360 execution plan door the key program of each Fiscal Year (integrated input from Education, PR, Digital and CRM)
•  Liaise with NY/London, participate actively in consumers studies in order to understand better the Asian consumers behavior & trends
•  Work closely with the markets to ensure proper support is in place (sampling, Events, Cabin, PR), review spending level regularly
•  Manage A&P spending of each affiliate with affiliate marketing (and BM). Participate to monthly financial review.
•  Coordinate all new and existing pricing plans to ensure regional pricing harmony and local competitiveness, working with Global Pricing group
•  Lead in sharing best practices among the markets in the region
•  Work as a link between GBSC and Regional Supply and Demand planning to actively manage the SIOP process, ensuring accurate and adequate forecast and supply
•  Identify areas of work where it can be supported by the region so that individual markets do not need to create it on their own

Lead and develops people:
•  Promote team spirit & drive motivation in a co-branded team
•  Develop Marketing Manager to be excellent marketers in execution and strategic partners with team in markets
•  Participate in Public Relations and Retail activities when necessary
Required Education/Experience/Competencies:

•    University Degree, preferably in Sales & Marketing

Work Experience:
•    Minimum 8 years solid working experience & proven track record in managing marketing function. Additional years of regional marketing experience are preferred
•    Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the FMCG or cosmetic industry or with Asia regional exposure
•    Experience in the luxury/premium industry is a plus & knowledge of Asian Prestige cosmetics markets would be an advantage
