Description
 
Responsible for paperwork accountability and work accomplishment reporting of aircraft maintenance.  Establishes priorities, workflow sequences and standards for accomplishment of required aircraft checks and modification line activity using the DWMS system.  Establishes aircraft component schedule requirements with the support shops, to support A/C schedules.  Provides problem parts list to Inventory and Purchasing.  Schedules selective work cards and coordinates the resolution of paperwork discrepancies with Production, QA, Planning, Engineering, Tech Services and other departments as required.  Initiates work cards text changes to correct, improve or document maintenance activities.  Coordinates with Engineering on ESO's, drawings and other engineering documents to ensure on-time aircraft schedule support.  Reviews daily workload requirements with Production to enhance efficiency and assure on-time schedule departures.  Analyzes, develops and recommends processes and systems to improve operations and maintain schedules.  Perform additional job duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
 
  • Extensive production control, production or other related work experience with 5 years commercial aircraft or related manufacturing experience desired.
  • Must be computer literate at PC level.
  • Intermediate level skills in Word, Excel and Access programs desired.
  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Must have strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Operations, SABRE/DECS experience helpful
  • Above average oral communications skills
  • Ability to work all shifts, holidays and overtime as required
  • Strong interpersonal, planning and problem solving skills required.
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
  • Technical degree or A&P license preferred.
