Position Summary:
Summer grooming takes on all projects from erosion control, disc golf, run grading and seeding, tree/debris removal, snow fence repair/install, snowmaking maintenance, road maintenance, fire watch/crew, and any misc. projects that are asked to be done on hill.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain all erosion ditches and ponds on hill
- Service and maintain pumps, guns, and hydrants for the snowmaking system
- Run grading with heavy equipment
- Seeding of erosion and grading areas
- Install/dismantle and GENERAL maintenance of the disc golf course
- Saw work on 2nd growth and debris from storms
- Building and maintaining all roads
- Snow fence maintenance and installation
- Winch Cat pic point maintenance and installation
- Run/trail signage maintenance and installation
- Fire watch and crew if fire on mountain. Drive Fire truck/operate dozer, shovel and water can
- Monitor weather for cutting and equipment operations
- Maintain all saws and cutting equipment
- Service Turnstyle pins/posts
Secondary Function:
- Assist mechanics with equipment maintenance
- Assist patrol with Lift evacuation
- Assist Lift maintenance with projects
Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- Current and valid Driver’s License
Technical- General knowledge of tools and heavy equipment
Physical Capabilities- Walk up hill carrying 50lbs + of gear and tools
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required- Read and Write clearly
