The Opportunity

Our Red Deer, AB location is currently looking for a Journeyman/woman Heavy-duty Equipment Mechanic - Licensed Mechanic to join the team.  This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Heavy Handling units including Tractors, Trailers, and loaders. This position may be required to work overtime and will be responsible to maintain company equipment both in the branch office/yard as well as to respond to service calls in various remote locations and client sites.

Key responsibilities:
 
  • Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of rental equipment while working within the budget provided to you by management.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork such as Work Orders, Inspections, and Inventory Sheets.
  • Ensure the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times as per office expectations, reporting all hazards and near misses as appropriate.  
Key qualifications:
 
  • High school combined with on-the-job industry related training is required.
  • Registered Journeyman Mechanic Certification .
  • Minimum valid Class 5 driver"s license required.
