| Description: |
Shall provide structural repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the Casino, Hotel, RV Park, and Golf course buildings. Will require skills and working knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and welding. This position requires physical work assignment indoors, at height, tight or enclosed areas, and outdoors, with variable outdoor conditions of extreme hot or cold temperature. This position requires shift work or adjustment of schedule as business or assignment may dictate. |

Duties:
|
1.Ensure internal/external customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service, by demonstrating courteous and respectful behavior. 2.Follow department work order process and procedure for assigned job tasks and assignment. 3.Perform repairs to facility structure or building modifications as assigned by supervisor for carpentry, electrical or plumbing needs. 4.Maintain structural aspects for designated resort roadways, parking lots, walkways, and external lighting fixtures as assigned. 5.Assist with inspection and maintenance of the various facility fire sprinkler systems as scheduled or instructed by the supervisor. 6.Perform scheduled inspection and maintenance to emergency lighting and signage for various facilities as assigned. 7.Perform daily inspections of light bulbs in the casino and Golf Course facilities and replace as necessary. 8.As assigned by Director or Supervisor coordinate or assist with activities or set up for special events or promotions. 9.Assist Facility Engineers HVAC or Electrician with repairs, maintenance, or installation as requested or assigned. 10.Coordinate to secure work areas for safety to the public, employees, co-workers, or vehicles. 11.Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly report all concerns or deficiencies to supervisor while taking the necessary precautions to prevent injury to employees or customer. 12.Provide training for operation and use of equipment, power tools, or hand tools to subordinates. 13.Operate and maintain vehicles, motorized equipment, power or hand tools and other equipment in a safe manner. 14.Keep FM shop and tools organized, clean, and free of unsafe debris or liquids. Follow department policy and procedure for tools and equipment check in/out, and assist with inventory verification as assigned. 15.Promptly report damages, defects, or unsafe conditions that may cause injury and to the supervisor. 16.Comply with regulatory laws, WRC employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc. 17.Acquisition of supplies and materials from local vendors as needed for work orders utilizing WRC and FM dept policies and procedures. 18.Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
|
1.High School Diploma or GED. 2.Two years documented experience or training in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, building construction, building maintenance, or similar field of work. 3.Effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities. 4.Work history that demonstrates strong and good attendance record. 5.Physically fit: able to stand, bend, lift and maneuver items up to 100 lbs., work in a smoky environment, work outdoors in adverse weather: and perform work using legs arms, hands and fingers. 6.Work at elevated heights of 10 feet or more or in tight or restricted areas. 7.Requires a Low Security Gaming License clearance and must be 21 years of age. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.Certificate or licensed in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, building design, building operation, or building repair and maintenance. 2.Valid drivers license and insurable per WRC driver insurance requirements.
