We have several full-service fitness resorts in the Dallas area. During the application process, you will be able to select which location(s) you are interested in. As a member of the Personal Training Team, you will be responsible for providing personal training services that offer programs for our members to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, and improve overall sense of well being. Weight Loss class, or developing a challenging workout for an endurance athlete, you'll be sure to find your passion at Life Time Fitness! Responsibilities Start your day by developing a safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training program for a client whose fitness goals include increasing cardiovascular endurance and reducing total body fat by 3%. Next, utilize your persuasive sales ability by walking the fitness floor and meeting potential clients. Build your business by conversing with members and speaking about the various fitness programs you offer. Allow your enthusiasm to shine while helping others reach their fitness goals as you set up appointments for complimentary fitness consultations. After lunch, teach a seminar to members on the benefits of interval training while discussing current health and fitness issues and trends. Then, monitor and instruct a new client during her first personal training session on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment. Round out your day with a shift at the service desk to ensure that members have a place to go if they have questions about equipment or fitness needs. Club locations are: Allen McKinney, Colleyville, Flower Mound, Garland, Mansfield, North Dallas, Plano, Premier Place Dallas Athletic Qualifications: Four year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or related field preferred. One year of personal training and program design experience preferred. Personal Training Certification (minimum of one): ACE, ACSM, Cooper Fitness, NASM, NATA, NSCA, NPTI.
