Do you want a role that will reward you and develop your technical skills? At QantasLink, your new position as a  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will see you performing all aspects of line, scheduled and heavy maintenance on QantasLink's fleet of Dash 8 aircraft. This role will see you working with a range of specialist teams in the most advanced aircraft facilities in the southern hemisphere, enabling you to provide world class engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You will be responsible for: 
  • The rectification, receipt/dispatch, servicing, maintenance and certification of a fleet of Qantaslink aircraft and equipment
  • Performing aircraft maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and Company specification to a very high standard
  • Completing all documentation and reporting requirements to required standards
  • Ensuring you meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Complying with Service and Occupational Health and Safety Standards
To be successful in this role you will display:
  • Aircraft servicing experience of various aircraft in a line maintenance environment
  • Completion of relevant apprenticeship and hold an Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures
  • Commitment to being a highly customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
  • Sound communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • An ability to work shift work
