Management Trainee Strategic Planning

Job Description:

Management Trainees in Strategic Planning are required to have a Bachelor-™s degree; a Master-™s degree is helpful. Typical concentrations are in business, finance, logistics or engineering. Candidates enroll in a fast track program that teaches the railroad business through training and field exposure, mentoring, and daily interactions with various departments throughout the Corporation. After the training period, incumbents will participate in projects involving additions to railroad infrastructure and facilities, management of the rail network or joint ventures with other rail carriers.

An interest in or previous work/volunteer experience with railroads is helpful.
