CBS Radio New York's Digital Sales Development team works with and supports Sales Managers and local sellers with CBS RADIO, CBS2 TV, and CBS Local digital media sales. Primary functions of the Digital Sales Development team include: producing proposals, participating in sales calls, and offering guidelines regarding pricing and packaging.
Responsibilities:
- Assist local Sales Managers and Account Executives with CBS Local digital media sales
- Coordinate and participate in brainstorming sessions
- Help prepare sales materials for local and national clients/meetings
- Research client/brand needs and draft client correspondence
- Assist with execution of national campaigns and tracking compliance
- Maintain database of station information including, demographics and current statistics
Required Skills/Experience
To be considered, you must have familiarity in the area of online media including internet ad sales, streaming media and online marketing and an understanding of web content as it relates to sales. Experience working with radio stations or other media is preferred.
Additional requirements include:
- Experience with streaming audio, video, and display digital advertising is preferred; experience with digital entertainment and/or news media a plus.
- You must have experience creating sales materials.
- Minimum college degree with 1 to 3 years related experience.
- Ability to organize and prioritize while juggling multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self starter

- Be a team player
- Professional and positive manner when working with clients and others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.)
