Under the direction of the School Age Childcare Director, the Youth Program Director will be responsible for all non-school based youth and family programming. This position will develop, manage and publicize the programs that address our youth population including the 7th Grade Initiative, Saturday Night Lights, Youth & Government, Encore, Summer Day Camps, Birthday Parties, and special events. General duties include working as a member of the Y leadership team, staff supervision, program development, fiscal management, program promotion, quality assurance and member satisfaction. Education/Experience: BA/BS degree in Education, Human Services, Recreation or a related field. 3 or more years of experience working directly with Camps, Youth, or Teens required. Child/youth programming and direct supervisory experience preferred. Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
