Communications Intern

Position Overview:
This is an office internship with the Kings Communications department. Interns are required to work 2-3 days a week in the office at Toyota Sports Center. Interns will assist the Kings Communications Staff with daily duties (press setup for Kings practices, daily business ops work). Interns must be able to receive school credit (whether on the semester or quarter system).

Essential Job Functions:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Organize daily press clippings
• Prepare and distribute press materials for Kings practices
• Transcribe interviews for LAKings.com
• Assist Communications Dept for daily operations
• Edit stories for LAKings.com

Non-essential Job Functions:
In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by Supervisor.
• Multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Work under deadlines
• High organizational skills
• Microsoft Office efficient
