This role will assume ownership of Time Warner Corporate and Shared Services divisional Privacy Assessment process to understand business processes that deal with the handling of employee personal information and assess inherent and residual risk. In addition, this role will support the Time Warner Corporate Director of Information Privacy in the assessment of IT Control gaps and remediation proposals and implementation as related to systems that process, store, or transfer employee personal information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Time Warner Corporate and Shared Services Privacy Assessment program.
  • Assess HR business processes and corresponding IT systems to identify control gaps and propose
  • recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Review HR system’s IT controls to assess their use as part of the overall business process control environment.
  • Develop monitoring activities to identify changes in the control environment.
  • Assist the Corporate Director of Information Privacy in the creation and deployment of Safe Harbor and International Data privacy and security awareness training.


EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Audit, Information Security or Data Privacy role


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an applicable field
  • CISSP or CIPP


SKILLS:

  • Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively partner with HR, Shared Services and IT clients, as well as gain the confidence and respect of senior management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an attention to detail


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience in implementing risk assessment methodologies, conducting risk assessments, and managing remediation efforts
  • Demonstrated knowledge base of global data protection regulations and knowledge of leading industry IT Control standards
