Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst for the Royalties & Audit department. This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating third party and joint venture partner audits of participation statements as well as residual guild payments to ensure reporting accuracy, clarity and compliance with legal agreements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule audits, including all aspects of fieldwork, in a timely manner.
  • Maintain system of organization for monitoring all audits from receipt of notification through settlement.
  • Facilitate the timely review of documents including those maintained by other divisions.
  • Facilitate the processing and communication of audit requests and responses from other divisions, including timely follow up on open items.
  • Provide appropriate documentation to respond to audit requests.
  • With only general supervision, perform research and detailed analysis to determine if statement modifications are necessary as a result of audit.
  • Read and understand extracts of legal agreements and related correspondence.
  • Understand participations systems used for reporting to effectively prepare and review changes to system for audit adjustment as needed.
  • Perform accurate self-review of work.
  • Reply to questions from Managers, Directors, VPs, and SVP as needed.
  • Provide manager with timely responses to audit reports received to support VP/SVP with settlement negotiations.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BA degree required.
  • Previous accounting, audit or finance related experience required.
  • Experience in Participations or Residuals required.
  • Entertainment industry experience a plus.
  • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong ability to interact professionally with outside auditors and all levels of company personnel and management required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Proficient in SAP general ledger.
  • Proficient in math and algebra.
  • Strong overall understanding of participations, including the ability to read and understand extracts of legal agreements.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be a confident individual, who is a quick learner and a self starter.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work overtime, as needed.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.
