Attendant Count Room - Harrah's Atlantic City

Job Description:

• Position may be assigned to work in either hard count or soft count room.
• Weighs, sorts, counts, wraps and records the contents of table game drop boxes and slot drop according to procedure.
• Compares information contained in drop boxes to data stored on computer terminal.
• Transfers coin from hard count room to coin storage room.
• Prepares bank deposits and wraps bank purchases of coin.
• Participates in reading and recording slot machine meters.
• Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of hard count and soft count room equipment.
• Maintains general upkeep of hard count and soft count rooms.
• Notifies Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Adding machine, currency counting machine and knowledge of computer terminal preferred.
• Basic mechanical (repair) ability helpful.
• Prior money handling and coin room experience preferred (casino or bank).
• Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration License.
