Job Summary
Receive, decontaminate, assemble and sterilize instrumentation, trays and patient care equipment in OR suite. Report items for repair, operate all types of sterilization and decon equipment. Follow universal precautions and inventory control procedures.
Required Qualifications*
High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have 18 months minimum experience with multi-specialty operating room instrumentation. Must be familiar with sterilization protocol. Must be able to read and write. Must have no lifting restrictions. Be certified or graduated from an accredited processor school and eligible for certification.
Desired Qualifications*
Must have knowledge and experience in Instrument Processing.
Work Schedule
Hours: 40 Monday - Friday: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
