Room Attendants (Housekeeping)

For Room Attendants in Yellowstone National Park, it's all about being part of a team and caring about the comfort of our guests! They are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and making them comfortable and inviting.

Room Attendants wear uniforms provided by the company. Employees must provide leather, closed-toe shoes.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Team Leader of the assigned area and to Housekeeping Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy and care.
• Clean and prepare guest rooms.
• Comply with procedures for chemical use and room cleaning systems.
• Comply with the Housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Comply with Ecologix enviornmental policies and procedures.
• Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns to the Team Leader.
• Assist with maintaining linen room cleanliness..
• Complete daily linen counts.
• Maintain Room Attendant cart and related equipment.
• Assist with other Housekeeping duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Organizational skills.
• Time management skills.
• The ability to follow instructions accurately.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling, climbing up and down stairs for up to 7-8 hours per shift.
• Making beds, stripping rooms, cleaning toilets for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Complete a list of 14-20 rooms.
• The ability to push or pull 50-75 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Working with required chemicals up to 8 hours per day.
