Full-time year- round position available. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems owned or managed by Copper Mountain Resort. Will include commercial kitchen equipment, boilers, electrical and gas fire equipment. Applicant will be on-call 1 to 3 nights per week and will need to respond within 30 minutes, one weekend day is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Formal mechanical schooling and 2 years related work is required. Applicant must be able to work in all types of conditions ie: crawl spaces, cold or hot areas, inside and outside. Applicant must keep accurate records and be able to communicate properly with vendors, sTub-contractors and fellow workers. Must be certified in CFC refrigeration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair of all CMI owned, managed and operated commercial refrigeration. This includes corrective and preventative maintenance of walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers, reach-in coolers, ice machines, and drinking fountains and plumbing repairs.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on CMI owned, HOA managed and operated properties mechanical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, pneumatics, electrical and commercial restaurants' equipment parts).
- Deal with vendors; specifying and ordering of refrigeration and mechanical maintenance parts.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records that would include parts billing, labor billing, inventory control, preventative maintenance records, and equipment records. Maintain positive employee and guest relations.Duties also include being on-call whenever necessary to maintain a 24 emergency coverage of the resort. Must have a valid Colorado drivers' license.

Basic Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
- Must be able to work in small, hard to reach places.
- Must be able to work on or around roof areas of buildings.
- High school and two years trade or technical school.
- MINIMUM five years in the field, hands on, service oriented work
Preferred Experience: Extensive skills in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, pneumatics, electrical systems, steam boilers, high temps. boilers, plumbing blue print reading, brazing, soldering, use of electrical test meters, propane, natural gas, or fuel oil burners, fire sprinkler systems, refrigeration test equipment and boiler test equipment. Technician must have and use his own hand tools: wrenches, screw drivers, nut drivers, hammer, hack saw, pipe cutters, and other hand tools used and carried by an HVAC tech. Multi-meters and refrigeration gauges will be the technician's responsibility to provide. Technical field tools and shop tools will be provided by CMI. Commercial F&B maintenance desired.
