Our team enables devices of all shapes and sizes to get and stay connected to each other and the internet always.   Our team is responsible for ensuring that the Windows Wi-Fi, Cellular, and core networking stacks are reliable, efficient, and meet our customers; high expectations.   We partner with hardware teams inside and out of Microsoft to ensure connectivity scenarios are high-quality across all device types: IOT, PC/laptop, phones, Hololens, Xbox, anything Windows-based.   Everything we do is data-driven with a sharp focus on achieving excellence in power, performance, reliability, security and private of all things related to networking connectivity.
Windows Insiders and customers generate data at cloud-scale and our engineers create innovative tools and solutions for consuming this data to have impact.   In our team you will get to leverage big data and our many listening systems to analyze and provide insights into customer experience to feed our engineering cycle.   You will own design and implementation of instrumentation for telemetry and analytics.   You will distill the signal from the noise by defining complex data models to join telemetry from across Windows components, aggregate it in interesting ways, and communicate the data insights to answer key business questions and provide product insights.   The code and data analysis scripts you author will run in the cloud against some of the largest distributed execution and data sources in the world.

-1 years of experience with software design and development.
-Experience developing customer / partner facing platform code developed using OOP languages like C#/Java/C
-Experience with monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting platform level code
-Good understanding of core computer science concepts is strongly preferred
-Strong customer empathy, communication, technical leadership and influencing skills
-BS/MS/PhD. Degree in Computer Science or Math or Physics or Electronics or Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred
-Familiarity with Data Platforms, Cloud Services, Build Systems, Installer Technologies, User Experience, Paradigms are all a huge plus
