As Senior Manager of Product Marketing you will be a core part of the consumer marketing organization, leading the go-to market strategy for all new product launches and features, including: competitive analysis, targeting, positioning, messaging, naming and promotion. You will shape the product development process from beginning to end, working with cross-functional team members from product management, design, engineering, marketing, communications, sales, legal and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent the voice of the consumer to shape product and marketing strategies
  • Drive product naming, messaging and positioning through qualitative and quantitative research
  • Partner with marketing and product analysts to establish and communicate product and campaign KPI's
  • Perform segmentation strategy to inform roadmap prioritization and go-to-market planning
  • Driver of product launches and stakeholder in the go-to-market strategy to include the right mix of content and channels to drive awareness, consideration and usage
  • Develop competitive benchmarking and content to position against other platforms
  • Work with product analytics and consumer insights team members to uncover insights that will impact product development and product marketing plans
  • Work with product management to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages
  • Interface with members of product management, design, engineering, marketing, sales and legal departments to successfully develop and inform go-to-market strategy
  • Research and analyze general Internet and economic trends, usage habits, tastes and preferences as they relate to Pandora's products and those of its competitors



Requirements:
  • BA in related field required, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years product marketing experience in consumer technology products/services
  • Experience with consumer internet product marketing, in product marketing, digital advertising, social media
  • Experience partnering with product management and engineering organizations
  • Ability to collect and use customer insights to drive strategic decisions
  • A history of performance excellence with a great balance of big picture thinking and detailed execution
  • A strong track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Track record of successfully rolling out complex, data-driven marketing programs
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills, including executive presentations
  • Experience managing multiple projects, in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Scrappy, game for any task, and able to adapt to change
  • Strong sense of ownership and thought leadership
  • A very high level of intellectual curiosity
