Camp Walt Whitman, located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, is seeking a Woodworking Director for this summer. Our Woodworking Director works with our boys and girls ages 7 to 15 teaching basic skills and leading our campers in exciting projects. Campers of varying experience are taught to make projects that might include bird houses, wooden bowls, wooden pens, Adirondeck chairs, benches, mini-pingpong tables, etc. Our woodshop is one of the hubs of camp and a favorite activity for our campers. Our Woodshop Director must possess a love of children and experience teaching woodworking to adults or children.
