Position Description:
The Weyerhaeuser Hardwoods & Industrial Products business is a world-class, integrated, global supplier of wood products to the furniture, cabinet, RV and millwork industries. We are an integral part of the Weyerhaeuser Company serving the industrial market segment worldwide. This is a full-time, summer position located in Federal Way, WA This position will spend their day working directly with the International Sales and Marketing team members in Federal Way, WA to coordinate activities and information with our overseas offices. You will engage in a variety of activities in the sales process from export transportation and documentation, mill visits, product training, sales calls with customers in the Pacific Northwest and developing marketing strategies. This positions overall goals are to find ways to increase sales and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

Required:

    * Proficiency in Mandarin language.
    * Commitment to working safely and adhering to the Weyerhaeuser safety and ethics policies.
    * Effective speaking and listening skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
    * Comfortable with MS computer programs.
    * Possess a valid driver's license and transportation to and from the office.

Preferred:

    * Forestry/Wood products background.
    * Business / Marketing studies.
    * Sales & marketing experience
