Responsibilities:

* Provide statistical, data, and analytical support to our team of corporate credit analysts based in Frankfurt. The Intern will be expected to both participate and lead the development process of new internal data bases, and to aggregate and analyze data from Standard & Poor's information resources.
* Assist senior analysts working on a wide variety of ad hoc projects relating to our credit rating analysis.

Qualifications:

* Be educated to degree level in a business or science related field.
* Possess strong skills in data base programming and management. Thus, high qualifications in MS Access and Excel are required.
* Fluency in English, written and spoken.
* Interest in the credit markets.
* The candidate should also have the ability to:
- think analytically;
- collate information into reasoned arguments;
- manage competing priorities;
- manage their own time effectively;
- work in a team; and communicate effectively (oral, written, presentation).
