We are currently seeking an intern for our Equity Research- Technology group. The intern will assist with business system analysis. Business systems analysis (BSA) is integral to the business in any decisions that may be impacted by technology. Business Systems Analysts serve as consultants to business units in planning and coordinating project systems analysis, design and implementation to automate processing or improve business systems. This position identifies, proposes and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations. The BSA Summer Intern will perform entry-level business systems analysis to assist the Equity Research Services Technology team on one of several ongoing systems development projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    * Engage with various Equity Research Services business managers to understand their functions, business processes and workflows for the purpose of (i) automating those processes and (ii) re-engineering those processes for efficiency
    * Document the above in workflow diagrams and in the form of User Stories
    * Engage with the Equity Research Services Technology project team to represent, clarify, and explain the business requirements for the purpose of automating the processes in software.

    * Strong basic analytical/critical thinking skills
    * Conceptual business knowledge
    * Clear written and verbal communication skills
    * Consistent in relaying information
    * Demonstrates general computing literacy and the use of office tools
    * Team orientation
    * Undergraduate candidate for a Bachelor's degree in Economics and/or Math, Computer Science or Engineering.
