Position Description: Dispatching and supervising drivers on loads by relaying trip information through the AS/400 computer system, satellite, face-to-face communication, and phone conversation. Manage drivers by assuring safe, legal, and on-time delivery of freight. Plan splits and swaps of loads to get drivers home, maintain legal hours of service and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree (Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics) and/or one to two years fleet management or transportation experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, proven management ability, and skill in operating a computer terminal and satellite communications system preferred.
