Position Description:
The fall is approaching and Universal Music Group is looking for interns for a variety of its departments in the Dallas area. Interested in the music industry? What to learn more about the company? Then an internship is a great way to gain exposure.
The internship program is designed to provide interested students with hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. Because today’s students may be tomorrow’s leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience.
Internships are unpaid, for college credit only. Interns must provide a school letter verifying that internship course credit will be received for the internship. All letters are verified.
We offer internships in various departments including: Marketing, Publicity, Advertising, Radio Promotions, A&R, New Media, Sales, Human Resources, Production, Creative, Soundtracks, Film & TV, Business Development, Finance, Licensing, Publishing, IT/IS, International, Business & Legal etc. Again, internships are UNPAID and for college credit only.

Candidates should possess exceptional computer, written and communication skills. Interns MUST be available to interview and work in the Dallas area. For ANY consideration, students ABSOLUTELY MUST be able to receive college from an accredited 2 or 4 year University and MUST be able to provide documentation of this from their school on or before their start date. If you cannot receive credit, you cannot be considered for an internship.

Job Requirements:
Candidates should possess:
• Exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
• Interest in the music industry
• Familiarity with online navigation a plus
• MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience preferred
• Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro experience preferred
• MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT
