This position requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, the ability to be weapons trained, act as a duty supervisor and work in typical Florida climate. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in biology or the natural sciences and/or possess related equivalent field experience or specialized training. Large carnivore experience is preferred along with a minimum of three years curatorial or management experience in a zoological setting. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background screening and drug testing.
