Position Description:
Up your game with our Finance Summer Internship Program. This internship is our way of introducing you to AT&T while developing your leadership skills in our finance arena. Our program targets a diverse group of talented MBAs from a variety of backgrounds who will represent our high standards of performance, ethics and leadership. This 10-12 week summer internship will be your first taste of the full-time, three-year rotational Financial Leadership Program reserved for our recent MBA grads. This internship offers you the opportunity to build your resume while evaluating your compatibility with AT&T. This is your chance to jumpstart your career as a financial leader right here at AT&T.
What to Expect
With our Finance Summer Internship, students will have the opportunity to become immersed in the financial operations of a leading Fortune 10 telecommunications company. Throughout the assignment, participants will experience practical application of studies as our focused staff provides guidance and helps to develop goals and objectives for personal growth.
As an FLP intern, participants will have the opportunity to contribute in areas such as:
* Auditing
* Budgeting and Forecasting
* Business Case Development
* Business Unit Finance
* Corporate Controllers/Accounting
* Corporate Planning
* Credit and Collections
* Financial Analysis
* Investor Relations
* Tax
* Treasury
Many of the internships are located in Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Georgia and California, but some may be available at other geographical locations in the United States. In addition to the immeasurable experience, participants receive a competitive compensation package. High performers will have the opportunity to interview for a position in our full-time Financial Leadership Program prior to returning to school.
Qualifications
All candidates are required to go through an initial screening process. Screening takes place on campus and via phone interviews.
For initial consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
* More than three years of corporate work experience
* A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better
* A first-year MBA student
* Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
* Must be mobile upon graduation
* A US citizen, or have permanent work authorization
