Position Description:
WCHS ABC 8 / WVAH FOX 11 are seeking a Full-time Meteorologist / Reporter to join the Eyewitness News team.

Requirements:

    * Degree in Meteorology (or in the process of graduating)
    * Minimum 2 years of related work experience
    * Ability to handle severe weather situations
    * Ability to pay GREAT attention to detail
    * Meeting deadlines in a high energy environment
    * Punctuality
    * Dependability
    * Flexible schedule

Responsibilities include:

    * Giving the viewers a clear picture of how (severe) weather will impact them
    * Writing for television with relentless attention to detail
    * Producing content for multiple platforms such as internet and mobile
    * Staying informed of current events
    * Working with management to enterprise and develop stories

AMS and NWA seals are not required, but are a definite plus!!
