Essential Responsibilities:

# Conceptualize ideas that can be used across multiple platforms including web-based applications
# Uphold graphic aesthetic, maintain quality and quantity of work produced, and contribute creatively to the department
# Manage agenda to meet project schedule dates and deadlines
# Execute multiple projects at once
# Follow creative direction and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned
# Act as creative lead on some projects, from conception to delivery, directing the work of peers and vendors while still participating as a hands-on creative
# Conceive and design network print material including advertising campaigns, collateral pieces and press kits
# Work closely with Online and On-Air designers to ensure continuity of design and shared assets
# Set-up electronic files for prepress
# Work with Production department to maintain organized file archives
# Create and prepare all print ad mechanicals for final release to publications. Ensure hi-res files are built to specs provided and are suitable for printing
# Participate in brainstorming sessions
# Work with trends in advertising design and marketing, as well as digital and e-business technology
# Participate in complex photo sessions involving on-air talent

Qualifications/Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

# Bachelor's degree in art and/or design
# Minimum 4 years experience in latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark and Mac OS X operating system
# Minimum 6 years experience in creative print design
# Minimum 4 years experience in print (4 color, spot colors, PDF and printer ready files) and print production techniques
# Photo shoot experience
