Position Description:
JPI, a national apartment management company is looking for a full-time Activities Director to join our team at the Orsini luxury apartment homes in downtown LA. Candidates should have great customer service and love working with people. A professional image and cheerful demeanor is also required. This person will be responsible for facilitating all resident activities so some nights and weekends will be required. Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred. 1. PRIMARY FUNCTION Works directly with on-site management team to develop and administer resident programs and events that contribute to and enhance management objectives in creating and maintaining a community.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Plans, implements, and supervises various on-site activities, programs, and social events for residents, both after hours and on weekends. · Responsible for the purchase of decorations, food, or other necessities for each event while remaining in compliance with approved budget. · Creates and maintains weekly calendar of resident activities. Responsible for distributing this information in flyer form to every resident.

3. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Assists management with additional requests needed.

4. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED A. EDUCATION: A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.

B: LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: None

C. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: Must exhibit strong leadership skills as well as a strong ability to organize and prioritize. Excellent verbal and written skills are required.
