Position Description:
The Regional Repair Service Manager will act as the key liaison with customers, the Fulfillment COE & Transactional (TX) Field Service Managers on repair services delivery. This individual will be strategically located in the Pittsburgh Service Center and will report into the Services Portfolio Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

    * Own regional financial performance, including regional repairs sales pacing for Power Services Profit and Loss (P&L)
    * Develop and drive repairs growth strategies and understand a competitive environment
    * Provide team leadership and close oversight to ensure that all facets of repair delivery and support are being evaluated and fed back to our fulfillment and region leadership teams
    * Participate in customer outage planning and 5Q reviews, etc.
    * Act as primary customer liaison for repairs
    * Visit customer sites to provide technical expertise throughout ITO & OTR processes
    * Resolve customer issues and perform post order follow-up
    * Own outage readiness and schedule through pre-outage planning with sales and fulfillment centers
    * Review key deals in support of the R-process similar to Service Manager role for field services
    * Coordinate emergent work strategy to ensure both profitable growth and customer satisfaction
    * Ensure quality fulfillment execution
    * Ensure project management, coordination and communication is being maximized for all major repairs
    * Be voice of customer into business
    * Prioritize NPI investments and provide cycle and cost feedback to drive resource and investment direction

Qualifications/Requirements:

    * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
    * Minimum of 7 years of technical, services and/or parts and repair experience
    * Minimum of 5 years energy experience

Desired Characteristics:

    # Prior process and operational experience as BB and/or Parts, Repair or Services Leadership experience
    # MBA/Master's Degree in technical area preferred
    # Strong working knowledge of the Power Generation Repair and Service offerings
    # Ability to influence multiple stakeholders
    # Ability to define and lead change
    # Prior experience in the Parts or Repairs area, preferably with GE Energy
