Our resort includes 315 spacious accommodations, including 56 condominium hotel suites and 20 Jungle Luxe bungalows, an 18,000-square foot spa with 15 treatment rooms and state of the art workout facility. Sports and recreational offerings include a two-mile powder white sand beach graced by a crystal clear turquoise sea, four spectacular swimming pools, and a water sports center offering snorkel, motorized, and non-motorized aquatic equipment. Our Marina offers daily fishing, diving, scuba and sailing excursions. The Activity Center offers the Westin Kids Club, arts, crafts, and game room. Guests can play a few holes on our breathtaking Troon-managed Nick Faldo Championship Golf Course, or take a swing on one of our six lighted tennis courts.

Dining and entertainment available at any of our ten restaurants and bars, gourmet market, and 24-hour in-room dining. Our meeting and conference center offers 14 salons totaling 20,000 square feet of versatile meeting space accommodating up to 700 persons for a banquet. A variety of outdoor venues are available for unique theme parties and special events. We are currently in search of a seasoned resort Director of Spa with luxury experience. This position will be based in the Dominican Republic from the resort and report to the resort's General Manager.

Qualifications

* 5-7 years of Spa, Fitness, and Recreation experience, minimum 3 years of previous management experience required

* Previous experience in a 400 plus room hotel/resort setting required

* Previous hotel/resort and/or opening highly desired

* Previous experience in a condo-resort setting highly desired

* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is highly desired

* Previous Caribbean experience highly desired

Since this position is based on island, the selected final candidate, if not a Dominican citizen or resident, must complete a drug test, an AIDS and tuberculosis blood test and chest X-ray, as required by the Dominican immigration law. The final candidate must also legalize their original birth certificate with the Dominican Consultae in their country of birth.
