Position Description:
This position supports the artwork, film, tape and other archival materials related to the DreamWorks Animation Archive.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
* Coordinates the processing of all Animation, Film and Tape and Consumer Products assets including: - Collecting and receipting all incoming assets
- Cataloging received assets into a collection database
- Facilitating the storage of cataloged assets at off-site storage facilities
* Works closely with DWA to collect and catalog film and tape assets
* Processes requests. Circulation fulfillment includes:
- Determining which assets match requestor's needs
- Obtaining appropriate signatures for permission to loan assets
- Making arrangements to pull requested assets from storage facility
- Retrieving pulled assets and returning them to storage upon expiration of loan period
- Proper conservation of assets including archival handing, use of storage materials and minor repair
Qualifications/Skills
Basic qualifications:
* 1 to 3 years of related experience
* Experience handling assets and working with databases
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, FileMaker Pro
Desired skills:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Customer service skills
* Strong understanding of the production history of Paramount pictures
* Strong writing skills
Eligibility requirements:
