Position Description:
Provides service to hotel guests/patrons for their comfort and convenience; greets and escorts incoming guests to guest rooms and checks guests in the room; delivers daily newspapers, messages, other miscellaneous items requested by management; delivers and removes guests luggage; offer information pertaining to available hotel services and facilities; controls traffic around the front entrance; properly parks and retrieves guest vehicles from designate areas; ensures the safety and security of keys left in cars, relieves the Door Attendant as necessary. All other related duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    · Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

    · Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

    · Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

    · Knowledge of the city, particularly tourist attractions.
