Position Description:
Requirements and Competencies: * Must have at least 6 months experience in the food service industry or currently be enrolled in a culinary program.
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Primary Responsibilities:
* General prep work will be required (cutting vegetables, fruits, meats, etc.)
* Keep work areas clean and sanitary at all times
* Follow menu specifications and serving procedures for each product; ensure correct portions of food or beverage are served
* Ensure that items are served at correct temperatures and in the proper plate presentation
* Follow safety guidelines and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Rotate all food inventory and practice FIFO (first in – first out)
* Follow all HACCP/Sanitation guidelines
* Restock hot lines
* Empty trash and detailing cleaning
