Responsibilities will include a little bit of everything, with a focus on solving interesting problems. Candidates will need to be able to build objects and visual effects from the ground up and script them. Other responsibilities require understanding how everything works together and how best to implement your latest and greatest idea. This position calls for someone who is a good problem solver with a fierce attention to detail. All of this must be executed efficiently.

Qualifications:

Must have qualifications include:

-At least 3 years of professional video games experience, with at least 2 shipped titles; console experience is a must.
-Excellent 3DS Max skills preferred but Maya is OK. ZBrush is a plus.
-An understanding of the art production process for video games and the ability to communicate well with other artists and programmers.
-Ability to visually debug problems and offer solutions.

Additional skills, of which you must possess at least two include:

-General script authoring experience (Perl, Python…you will have to learn our in-house tools).
-MAXScript or Mel authoring experience.
-Particle effects.
-Solid understanding of pre-calculated and real-time lighting techniques.
-Shader concepting/authoring.
