Position Description:
HBO is looking to hire a Recruiter to collaborate with hiring managers to create, develop and execute employment search strategies. These strategies include identifying top talent, maintaining proactive sourcing activities and ensuring qualified applicant pools are identified. The Recruiter will continuously partner with hiring managers and HR Generalists, resulting in successful hires within targeted time frames. In addition, the Recruiter will work in a team environment managing projects including metrics, on-boarding and interns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform full project life cycle recruiting (initial sourcing to offer acceptance and on-boarding) for all assigned positions.
    • Execute recruitment and sourcing activities including, but not limited to: direct sourcing; industry networking; Internet postings; active resume database searches; employee referrals; vendor management; and outreach to appropriate trade and industry organizations.
    • Build, develop and maintain external relationships with talent pools within area of industry expertise with the goal of attracting top tier talent.
    • Enter, track and update all candidate correspondence in the Applicant Tracking System ("Brass Ring") to ensure accurate reporting on performance management, recruitment policy compliance with EEOC/OFCCP regulations and company policies.
    • Utilize established tools, processes and policies in managing candidate selection and interviews; prepare regular progress and status reports to department and business unit managers; conduct effective "kick-off" meetings; prepare salary justifications.
    • Develop proactive recruitment and succession planning strategies in close collaboration with hiring teams and HR Generalists.
    • Partner with HR teams in recommending new hire salary offers to client groups.

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a recruiter. Work experience in an "in-house" or "corporate" recruitment department strongly desired.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute the full life-cycle recruitment at all levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities.
    • Vendor management experience.
    • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong business acumen.
    • Able to work independently in a fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and customer service.
    • Able to manage confidential information effectively
    • Exceptional interpersonal, social and communications skills – both verbal and written
    • Familiarity with, and the ability to learn the use of: automated applicant tracking tools; computer and Internet systems; HRIS systems (e.g., Cyborg, Kenexa, etc.); MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Proven ability to stay abreast of market and competitive trends.
    • Experience in the Media/Entertainment industry preferred.
