Position Description: The Maintenance and Materials Supervisor will have primary responsibility for managing the comprehensive operation & preventive maintenance program for the entire facility. The candidate will have outcome responsibility for assigning Preventive Maintenance activities and for monitoring their on-time performance as well as to manage the plant operation in accordance with engineering provided processes and procedures. Will also be the primary buyer for purchased maintenance materials and will schedule and coordinate maintenance contractors. Effective utilization of the Plant Utilities to optimize the Operating Cost (Cost and Consumption control; Resource utilization). Communicating with client and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance opportunity for future contracts. May be required to use a variety of hand and power tools or forklift. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to differentiate color variations on an HMI screen. Manage warranties from suppliers on installed equipment. Manage, direct and train entry-level personnel. Management of Spare parts and consumables. Take care of Operation and Maintenance activities within the plant. Ensure Steam production per the operations parameters. Establish a cost effective shift structure for optimal plant coverage. Requirements/Qualifications: A minimum of 2 year associates degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience of 5 – 10 years, Field Electrician License preferred. Five or more years experience in operations and maintenance of mechanical and control systems. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Required to possess a valid driver's license.
